Itinerary

8:00 a.m. – 8:30 a.m: Guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in the old town area. Pick up time depends on your hotel location.

8:45 am: The group visits Tran Quoc Pagoda – the oldest pagoda in Hanoi built in the 6th century. Here, you will have the opportunity to see one of the largest Bodhi trees in Vietnam.

9:30 am: The group will visit the complex of President Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, you will have the opportunity to see the body of beloved Uncle Ho, visit the relics of the Presidential Palace, and visit Uncle Ho’s living and working place from 1954 to 1969. Next, the group will visit the One Pillar Pagoda – a pagoda built in 1048 under the reign of King Ly Thai Tong.

11:15 am: The group will visit an Ethnology Museum – a place to store and display many artifacts and antiques related to the costumes, culture, history and customs of 54 ethnic groups. This is a meaningful visit to ethnographic knowledge.
Note: The group will visit the Vietnamese Women’s Museum to replace the Ethnology Museum, which is closed every Monday.

12:30: The group enjoys lunch at a restaurant in the old town area with a special menu (with accompanying menu)

13:45: The group continues to visit the Temple of Literature where Confucius is worshiped. This is considered the first university in Vietnam from the 11th to the 18th century

15:30: The group visits Hoa Lo Prison – built by the French in 1886, the prison is famous because it was the place where many great Vietnamese revolutionaries during the Indochina War and American pilots during the War were detained. Vietnamese paintings

16:00-16:30: End of program. Take your car to the hotel
